Royals attend WWI remembrance concert
The Queen and senior members of the Royal family have attended a Festival of Remembrance on the eve of Armistice Day.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were among those who paid their respects at London's Royal Albert Hall, ahead of Sunday's commemorations marking 100 years since the end of the First World War.
Prince Charles and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also in attendance, as actors, authors, singers and military bands led the tributes.
The singer Tom Jones and the actress Sheridan Smith both performed at the event, which was organised by the Royal British Legion armed forces charity.
The Queen had arrived at the Royal Albert Hall wearing five poppies before the show started.
Theresa May was joined by thousands of audience members in holding aloft photographs of their relatives who fought in the war.
One of the prime minister's photos showed her ancestor Private Hubert Brasier Grant, of the East Surrey Regiment, who died at Passchendaele in 1917 aged 19.
Mrs May's other photograph showed her grandfather Sergeant Major Tom Brasier, who served with the King's Royal Rifle Corps.
Members of the Armed Forces marched into the centre of the venue and gathered in formation.
Earlier in the day, Prince Harry had laid a wreath at Twickenham ahead of England's rugby Test match against New Zealand.
Events to mark the end of the First World War have been taking place around the world, with leaders including French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and May in France earlier on Saturday.
