Paul Pogba provides injury boost for Manchester United as he flies out to Dubai
Ole Gunnar Solskjaers side jetted out to the Middle East following Saturdays FA Cup third round win over Reading, though Pogba – and others, including Fred and Matteo Darmian – were not part of the travelling party.
United allayed fears over his absence on Sunday, saying he had simply picked up a knock in Uniteds win over Newcastle.
Paul Pogba has not completely recovered from the knock he sustained against Newcastle United and stayed back for treatment, read a statement.
But he will join his Manchester United teammates in Dubai soon in preparation for the Tottenham Hotspur game.
Pogba required treatment on a gash sustained on his left leg after a reckless challenge from Jonjo Shelvey, but has now been passed fit to travel to Dubai.
He was spotted at Manchester airport on Tuesday boarding a platinum-class plane to Dubai and is expected to take part in training as normal with the rest of his teammates.
Speaking about the camp, Solskjaer explained: Itll be a time to get some fitness work and work hard with them, so, if any of the players think its a holiday, theyre wrong.
Were there to stick together, work hard on the physical part of it and, of course, think a little bit ahead to the Tottenham game.
