A murder investigation has been launched after a young man died more than two years after being shot in the head.
Boluwatife Oyewunmi was attacked near a Travelodge hotel in Enfield, north London, in April 2017.
The 22-year-old from Enfield was taken to hospital in a critical condition and survived for more than two years, but died in July.
No one has ever been charged over the shooting and the Metropolitan Police have now released photographs of the victim, including one of him lying in a hospital bed which shows his horrific head injury.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Considine said: "Two years is a long time and this has clearly been a very difficult period for Boluwatife's family.
"Loyalties between those behind this shooting may have changed. Do you have information about those responsible?
"The investigation has been open since the incident happened and we continue to appeal to anyone with information to come forward and speak to us.
