Antonio Conte was sent to the stands during Chelsea’s game with Swansea after abusing the fourth official.
The Italian tactician was given his marching orders by referee Neil Swarbrick shortly before the conclusion of the first half.
He had seen his side totally dominate the game, but fail to make a breakthrough against a side second from bottom of the Premier League.
Conte was angered when Swansea were incorrectly awared a goalkick which led him to scream in the face of fourth official Lee Mason. He’s also understood to have complained about time wasting from the visitors to west London.
There were comical scenes immediately after when Conte took a seat just a couple of rows back from the bench – a position from where he could still have made himself heard had he wanted to.
But he was quickly moved on again, heading down the tunnel in search of a more elevated position.
