A woman has released footage of the moment she confronted a group of people fly-tipping down a country lane and ended up with one of them on her bonnet.

Identified only as WendyGordon on YouTube, she said that she witnessed the incident a year ago but was too scared to upload it until recently.

She was driving down the quiet country lane when she came across at least four men with a white van.

Confronting them, she asks ‘what do you think you’re doing?’ telling them that it is illegal to dump rubbish.

After one of them notices a dashcam they start getting agitated and off-camera you can hear a scuffle before the woman reverses away with one of them on her bonnet.

She eventually managed to shake him off while another runs towards her.

She uploaded the video to YouTube with the name ‘Travellers caught dumping a fridge!’

Fly-tipping can lead to fines of up to £50,000 or 12 months in prison at Magistrates’ Court. At Crown Court it could land people with an unlimited fine or up to five years in prison.
